macOS shortcuts

Download a ZIP containing a web shortcut to EPiCC. Unzip it, then follow the Installation Guide to add it to your desktop or Dock.

Set up a Project

Use these source documents to build an EPiCC Project in Claude or ChatGPT. For Claude configuration, follow the Installation Guide.

Optional setup

Make EPiCC Easier to Reach

Add a direct shortcut to the browser or device you use most. These steps are optional.

Create Profile-Specific Chrome Shortcut

Use this option if you have multiple Chrome profiles and want EPiCC to open in the right one.

  1. Open EPiCC in Chrome using the ChatGPT or Gemini link above.
  2. Open Chrome’s three-dot menu in the top-right corner.
  3. Select Cast, save, and share, then Create shortcut…
  4. Name the shortcut EPiCC.
  5. Chrome will create a .crwebloc file on your desktop.
  6. If you want a custom icon, follow the macOS instructions in the third section before adding the shortcut to your Dock.

Open EPiCC using the ChatGPT or Gemini link above, then follow the steps for your browser.

Safari

  1. Tap the menu button to the left of the address in the bottom address bar.
  2. Tap Share.
  3. Tap View More in the bottom-right corner.
  4. Scroll down and select Add to Home Screen.

Chrome

  1. Tap the share button to the right of the address in the bottom address bar.
  2. Tap View More in the bottom-right corner.
  3. Scroll down and select Add to Home Screen.

Customizing your weblink on macOS

Do this before adding the shortcut to your Dock.

Download icon image
  1. Download the icon image using the button above.
  2. Right-click the EPiCC shortcut and select Get Info.
  3. Drag the downloaded image onto the small shortcut icon at the top of the Get Info window.
  4. Close the Get Info window.
  5. You can delete the downloaded image after the new icon appears on the shortcut.
